This thermocouple thermometer is highly accurate and waterproof with an IPX7 standard rating. Auto shut-off after 10 minutes of non-use. Features a On/Off switch, selectable Fahrenheit / Celsius. Factory calibrated constants stored in non-volatile memory. The battery compartment is reverse polarity protected to prevent damage to circuit board if batteries are installed improperly. Encased in a rugged ABS plastic housing and has a large, easy to read LCD screen.
